Meeting every Thursday morning from 11.30am to 2.30pm at St Alban’s Parish Centre, this Churches Together sponsored project provides a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where people with mental health problems and special needs can meet and chat with friends.
Our members can enjoy bingo (for sweet prizes) and Pool, One member paints and writes poetry. Coffee, tea and soft drinks are provided throughout the day, and soup and sandwiches can be bought from the kitchen at a reasonable price.
Three times a year we have outings to places like Southport, Llandudno and Bury Market.
We always welcome new volunteers to help. Just drop into the Centre on a Thursday between 11.30 and 2.30pm.
